Account Management: Merge Accounts – Web

Table of Contents

Background

Every DSPTCH Web Account has a Work Email, Personal Email, and Phone Number associated with it. If there are two DSPTCH Web Accounts registered under the same Work Email, Personal Email, or Phone Number, DSPTCH will flag this as a potential duplicate account.

It is important to note that DSPTCH Web and Mobile Accounts are separate.

In other words, creating an account on both DSPTCH Web and DSPTCH Mobile will not trigger the Merge Accounts prompt.

Merge Accounts Banner

In the event that a potential duplicate DSPTCH Web Account is found, the Merge Accounts Banner will appear at the top of the screen on DSPTCH Web. See image below for an illustration (highlighted in red box):

To review the potential DSPTCH Web Accounts and begin the merge process, click "Merge Accounts" on the right side of the banner. This will open the Review Account Information Page.

Review Account Information Page

The Review Account Information Page includes the Name, Personal Email, Work Email, and Phone Number associated with both of the potential duplicate DSPTCH Web Accounts. Take a moment to review the information provided here.

If both DSPTCH Web Accounts appear to have been created by you, complete the merge process by clicking "Merge Account" button (highlighted in the red box in the image below):

If the merge process is successful, a success message reading, "User was successfully merged" will appear at the bottom right of the screen (highlighted in red box in image below):

If the duplicate DSPTCH Web Account does not appear to have been created by you, please contact support at help@dsptch.work
