Time: Creating a Bulk Time Entry

Navigating to the Time Page
First, click the "Time" tab from the primary navigation bar at the top of the page. This will open a list of all employees in your company and their time entries for a given pay period. To open a different pay period use the forward or back arrow at the top right of the screen or click on the date range to open a dropdown menu of all available pay periods.

How to Create a Bulk Time Entry
To create a bulk time entry, start by selecting the users that will be included. To do so, click the box to the left of a user's profile picture. Once clicked, the box will have a blue checkmark within to indicate the user has been selected. Select as many users as needed.
NOTE: All users included in a bulk time entry must be assigned to a position on the same job.
Helpful Tip: Use the "Job" filter at the top of the page to ensure that all users are on the same Job.
After selecting all users, scroll up to the top of the page and click the "Bulk Actions" button. From the dropdown menu that appear, click "Bulk Time Entries" near the bottom of the list.

This will open the "Bulk Time Entries Form" (pictured below). There are several fields to fill out in this form:

- Start Time (Required):
- The date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) and time for which the bulk time entry starts.
- End Time (Required):
- The date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) and time for which the bulk time entry ends.
- Job (Optional):
- The job that the bulk time entry will be tied to.
- NOTE: To select a job from the dropdown, all of the selected Users must have a Position that is active during the pay period.
- State (Optional):
- The state which the work associated with the bulk time entry was completed in.
- Timecode (Optional):
- The timecode that characterizes the work associated with the bulk time entry.
After filling out all required fields, click the "Submit" button. A green popup box with a success message will appear at the bottom of the screen.
From the same window, additional bulk time entries can be created by changing the fields in the form. If no other bulk time entries need to be created at this time, click the "Finished" button.

After successfully creating a bulk time entry, an individual time entry will be visible for each user. To view the time entry, navigate back to the "Time Cards" tab homepage, select the relevant user, and locate the time entry from the list on the left side of the page.
