Time: Mapped Wage Determinations

DSPTCH’s interactive map now includes county-by-county SAM.gov wage determinations active and historical layered right on top of every wind, solar, and BESS site in North America.

Table of Contents:

How to Navigate to Wage Determinations from the Map

Start by clicking on the "Map" tab in the primary navigation bar at the top of the page. From the map, click on the boundaries filter (three stacked layers icon) and then toggle on the "Counties" filter.

If the map is zoomed out, counties may not load right away. To fix this, zoom in on the map to the geographic area of interest.

Once the map is sufficiently zoomed in, the county lines will appear (green lines) on top of the existing map. To view a county's wage determination data, click on the county borders. The county will then become highlighted in bright green and a pop-up box with the county name will appear. Click on the "View Wage Determination Details" button on the pop-up box.

This will open the "Wage Determination – County" page for that county.

See a video below for a demonstration:

Wage Determination Heat Map

Start by clicking on the "Map" tab from the primary navigation bar at the top of the page. From the map, click on the boundaries filter (three stacked layers icon) and then toggle on the "Counties" filter.

Then, in the "classification name is like" text field, enter in a labor classification type (e.g. "Electrician").

Lastly, zoom in on the Map until the county boundaries load. Once a labor classification is added, each county will be color coded (dark red for high prevailing wage rates and dark blue for low prevailing wage rates).

Zoom in further to view the average hourly rate for labor in each county.
