Subcontractor PWA Onboarding: Bulk Time Uploads


There are three methods by which Time Entry Data can be Bulk Uploaded:

  1. Manual Bulk Time Entries
  2. File Upload in DSPTCH Time Entry Format
  3. File Upload in LCP Tracker Format

This guide will cover each of these methods.

To navigate to the Time Tab, click the "Time" button from the main navigation bar at the top of the screen. If needed, you can navigate to a different time period by using the forward and back arrows at the top right of the screen.

How to Manually Bulk Upload Time Entries


To create a Manual Bulk Time Entry, start by selecting the Users that will be included. To do so, click the checkbox icon to the left of a User's profile picture. Once clicked, it will toggle on to have a blue checkmark. Select as many Users as needed.

NOTE: All Users included in a Bulk Time Entry must be assigned to a Position on the same Job.


Helpful Tip: Use the "Job" Filter at the time of the Time Tab to ensure that all Users are on the same Job.

After selecting all Users, scroll up to the top of the Time Tab and click the "Bulk Actions" dropdown button. From the bottom of the list, click the "Bulk Time Entries"

This will open the Create Bulk Time Entry Form (pictured below):

There are several fields to fill out in the Create Bulk Time Entry Form:

  • Start Time (Required):
    • The date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) and time for which the Bulk Time Entry starts.
  • End Time (Required):
    • The date (in MM/DD/YYYY format) and time for which the Bulk Time Entry ends.
  • Job (Optional):
    • The Job that the Bulk Time Entry will be tied to.
    • NOTE: To select a Job from the dropdown, all of the selected Users must have a Position that is active during the Pay Period.
  • State (Optional):
    • The state which the work associated with the Bulk Time Entry was completed in.
  • Timecode (Optional):
    • The Timecode that characterizes the work associated with the Bulk Time Entry.

After filling out all required fields, click the "Submit" button. A green popup box with a success message will appear at the bottom of the screen.


From the same window, additional Bulk Time Entries can be created by changing the fields in the form. If no other Bulk Time Entries need to be created at this time, click the "Finished" button.

After successfully creating a Bulk Time Entry, an individual Time Entry will be visible for each User. To view the Time Entry, navigate back to the Time Tab homepage, select the relevant User, and locate the Time Entry from the list on the lefthand side of the page.
