Projects Background
Background & Motivation
Projects enable multiple separate, yet related Jobs to be housed in one place. If needed, this can span multiple sub-contractors.
For instance, if there are multiple Jobs taking place at the same Job Site, creating a Project provides a way to track all of the Jobs in one place.
How to Navigate to Projects
Projects are housed under the "Jobs" tab from the primary navigation bar at the top of DSPTCH web.
To navigate to Projects, first click "Jobs" followed by "Projects" on the sub navigation bar that opens at the top of the screen. See video below for a demonstration:
Filtering Projects
There are several global filters for Projects at the top of the Projects tab (see image below):

- Search:
- Textual search bar that can be used to filter for Projects by Project Name
- Owner:

- Participant:

Project Apprenticeships Tab
Overview
For Projects with enabled Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Tracking, there is additional functionality beyond the Overview tab. Learn how to enable Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship tracking under the How to Create a New Project section of this help doc.
Categorizing multiple Jobs under the same Project creates an Apprenticeship dashboard which provides a single source of apprenticeship compliance visibility for every Job and Company involved in the Project.
To navigate to the Apprenticeships tab of a Project, start by opening the Project Card and then clicking "Apprenticeships" from the navigation bar at the top of the screen. See video below for a demonstration:
The dashboard provides visibility into the ratio of the Apprentice-to-Non-Apprentice Hours for each Company involved in the Project (pictured below):
In the image above, a green value under the "Percentage" column indicates a compliant ratio of Apprentice-to-Non-Apprentice Hours (I.e greater than or equal to 15% of total hours) and a red value indicates a non-compliant ratio.
There is also a graphical dashboard that provides a day-by-day breakdown of the Apprentice-to-Non-Apprentice Hours for each Company involved in the Project (pictured below):
The Apprenticeship Requirements section also includes a Daily Labor Hours dashboard which provides a daily graphical representation for the Apprenticeship Labor Hour Percentage and Number of Apprentices per Journey Worker for each Company involved in the Project.
In the image above, a value over the red line indicates a compliant ratio of Apprentice-to-Non-Apprentice Hours (I.e greater than or equal to 15% of total hours) and a value below the red line indicates a non-compliant ratio.
Project Prevailing Wage Tab
Overview
For Projects with enabled Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship Tracking, there is additional functionality beyond the Overview tab. Learn how to enable Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship tracking under the How to Create a New Project section of this help doc.
Categorizing multiple Jobs under the same Project creates a Prevailing Wage dashboard which provides a single source of prevailing wage compliance visibility for every Job and Company involved in the Project.
The dashboard provides visibility into the number of required Prevailing Wage Determinations that have been set (or still need to be set) for each Job on the Project. Clicking into each Wage Determination provides an overview of the number of Positions on a Job being classified under the Wage Determination as well as warnings if the Wage Rate for a Position falls below the rate set by the Wage Determination.
To navigate to the Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeships tab of a Project, start by opening the Project Card and then clicking "Prevailing Wage" from the navigation bar at the top of the screen. See video below for a demonstration:
