Creating a Demo Certified Payroll Report
This guide will walk you through how to create a sample certified payroll report (i.e. WH-347 form) in just a few clicks. This form is used in fulfilling necessary reporting requirements and can be cumbersome to create manually. DSPTCH greatly simplifies the process.
Before diving in, please verify that all steps in the "Getting Started with Your DSPTCH Demo Account" documentation (which walks through accessing your DSPTCH demo account) have been completed. Read the documentation here.

Step 1: Create a PWA-Eligible Time Code
By default, your company will not have any associated time codes.
A time code is what characterizes a time entry as being PWA-eligible or PWA-ineligible.
In order to generate certified payroll reports, a time card with PWA-eligible time entries must be present.
For instructions on how to create a time code, read our documentation here.
Make sure to enable the PWA-toggle under the "Classifications" Section.
Step 2: Assign the PWA-Eligible Timecode to the Sample Time Entry
Once the PWA-eligible time code has been created, it needs to be assigned to the sample time entry we have created.
Start by opening the "Time" tab. Then, select the relevant user's time card. Next, navigate to the sample time entry and click the three dots icon followed by the "Edit" button. This will open the Edit Time Entry form. Under the "Timecode" field, select the PWA-eligible time code that was created in Step 1. Lastly, click "Save".
See the video below for a demonstration:

Step 3: Export a WH-347 File
As a final check, make sure the date of the sample time entry with the PWA-eligible timecode falls within the start and end date range for the sample job.
After that, all pre-requisites are complete for being ready to export a WH-347 file.
For instructions on exporting a WH-347 file, read the "How to Export a WH-347 File" of the documentation here.
Step 4: How to Read a WH-347 File
For instructions on how to read and interpret the WH-347 file, read the "How to Read the WH-347 Warnings File" section of our documentation here.
